Really?

We went to the Ocoee Whitewater Center to ride Cedar Mountain and watch the Ocoee river fill after the water is released from Dam #3. We have been here before. Riding and rafting. We even mountain bike raced here before. Pretty unforgettable racing down "Thunder Rock Express". I was thrilled and ever so terrified at the same time. Riding out of here turned out to be our best wild life sighting to date. Coming around a corner in the "river loop" we came upon a mother bear and two cubs. I was torn between getting a photo and moving really fast backwards. Bears are faster than people. We didn't get any photos. Little cub went up the tree in record time and mom and other cub went up the hill out of sight. Little cub then comes down the tree and down the hill. Oooops. Now the trail is between the one cub and the other pair of bears. We can't see 'em but we can hear them rustling around. Mama's comin' down the hill! She sits on the bike trail and makes sure her cub crosses over the trail and gets down the hill safely then they all beat it down the hill. Wow. Did that just happen?
